Overview… reconnecting from the XenaManager
The connection to the chassis can get lost, typically because of network problems or because the chassis has been powered down. With the XenaManager you can see the status in the “CHASSIS PROPERTIES” panel:
The chassis name will also be shown using italic font in the navigation area.
In this situation the XenaManager retains the last known value for each parameter, but nothing can be changed. You can try and reconnect using the right-click menu of the chassis:
If the reconnect is successful the XenaManager pulls in a complete fresh set of values from the tester. Everything can have changed, since the tester may have been powered down and the modules changed, or this may simply be a different Xena tester using this IP address.
