Overview… content area of the XenaManager

 

On the right side in the XenaManager is the content area which shows detailed information about the currently selected resource from the navigation area. The information in the content area is organized into a number of tabs along the top:

The “Properties” tab applies to both chassis, modules, and ports, whereas most of the other tabs apply only to port resources.

 

 

For each tab there are one or more panels inside the content area:

You view and update the configuration of the tester through the parameter values shown in the various panels.

 

The panels that belong to the transmit side of a port are in light blue color, whereas those belonging to the receive side are in light brown color.

 

 

The top portion or a panel is called the title. The resource to which the panel belongs is shown on the left side of the title, like “Dev 1G / Module 0 / Port 2 / Stream 0″. The type of the panel is shown at the right side, like “STREAM DEFINITION”. 

 

The panels can be collapsed and expanded by clicking their title. Inside the panels there may be sub-sections, like “Transmission profile”, and they are also expanded and collapsed by clicking on their title.

 

 

In general you delete items from the various panels by clicking the little “X” buttons:
